Waiting on Wednesday: Destination Unknown

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking The Spine to show upcoming releases that we can't wait to read (aka going crazy waiting for). This weeks book is:

Expected publication: February 4th 2014
Paperback, 256 pages
(Goodreads synopsis)

It's senior year, and Whitney Richards is tired of the constant pressures to be perfect. When she gets a D in Calculus, her mother immediately hires a tutor, worried Whitney won't get into the 'right' college---her alma mater---with imperfect grades. Her tutor, Taylor, is a quiet, mysterious boy who is unlike anyone Whitney has met before. But Taylor's rougher upbringing has her mother and friends discouraging any type of relationship. Tired of having to play a part for everyone else, Whitney quits the cheerleading squad that once defined her social identity, and begins spending more time with Taylor. Her mom and friends worry Whitney is making a huge mistake, and even Taylor begins to show concern for some of her choices. But for the first time, Whitney is in the driver's seat of her life. Will she be able to find her identity---and God's plan for her life---before she throws everything away?

Why I'm waiting: I really enjoyed reading Amy's books. This sounds really good so I can't wait to get my hands on it.

  4. I agree I love covers like this. I love NA too but these books hold a special spot for me because they aren't loaded with graphic sex scenes. Thanks for stopping by!

  5. The cover is gorgeous! I think it fits the title/synopsis really well. Here's our WoW!

  6. I have no problem with sex scenes[I read almost exclusively adult] as long as they aren't disgusting or repetitive or, best yet, buddy parts aren't displaced.

  7. I haven't seen this one before but I really like the sound of the summary. I'm going to check it out when it comes. I hope you enjoy reading it. Great pick and thanks for sharing!

Come check out my WOW post.

  8. I love this cover. Her other books have been just as pretty and go perfectly with the books.

  9. This is kind of like a series but not really. The other 2 books were really good. Thanks for stopping by!

  10. I also really liked her other book! This one sounds really good and I love the cover :)
