PRINCESS EVER AFTER by @RachelHauck Blog Tour: Review and Giveaway!

Princess Ever After by Rachel Hauck
The Royal Wedding Series
Zondervan/
Release date: February 4, 2013

About the book: A Royal Wedding Book
Regina Beswick was born to be a princess.
But she's content to be a small-town girl, running a classic auto restoration shop, unaware a secret destiny awaits her. One that will leap from the pages of her grandmother's hand-painted book of fairytales.
Tanner Burkhardt is the stoic Minister of Culture for the Grand Duchy of Hessenberg. When he is tasked to retrieve the long-lost princess, he must overcome his fear of failure in order to secure his nation's future---and his own.

Yet lurking in the political shadows is a fierce opponent with sinister plans to abolish the throne forever. Overwhelmed with opposition, Regina must decide if she's destined to restore old cars or an ancient nation. Together---with a little divine intervention---Regina and Tanner discover the truth of her heritage and the healing power of true love.

If I wasn't a fan of Rachel after the first book then this one definitely sealed the deal. There is just something about a regular girl getting shipped off to another country and become royal that I love. Maybe its the fact that all girls wanted to be a princess or meet her prince. Rachel has a way of capturing your attention with each page and before you know it you have spent a whole day glued to the book feeling every emotion as they present themselves through the characters. I feel completely in love with these characters and never wanted the story to end. Regina owns a car restoration shop in Tallahassee, FL. She used to be a hot shot accountant but went after her passion of restoring classic cars. Every Friday they had a gathering called Reggie's Court where they talked shop with friends and had an evening of love and laughter. The last thing Reggie expected was for handsome Tanner to walk in and turn her would upside down. Tanner has been sent by the king to bring Princess Regina back to Hessenberg to give them their country back. Tanner is determined to not stay from the mission because of his dark past. The never thought Reggie would be so difficult or beautiful. She made him feel things that he never had before or thought he would ever find. Reggie goes to Hessenberg with Tanner to give it a try and to find out more about her grandmother. As she struggles with the truth of who she is, she also struggles with falling in love and feeling things she never allowed herself to feel before. If anyone remembers my review of Once Upon A Prince then you know how much I loved Nathaniel. That alone was reason enough for me to want this book. Even though he is hard to replace, Tanner was really incredible. He went from the tough guy keeping his emotions in check to completely surrendering to love and making you swoon half way to the moon. I highly recommend everyone jump on the Royal Wedding boat. You will be completely blown away.
