I LOVE Christmas! Once decorations and stuff are in the store I'm a little happy camper looking at everything. There is this family from my church that every year they have to MAKE a gift. I think that is so awesome. I am also one of those weirdos that loves giving ornaments as presents lol. I saw this and was like aaahhhh have to do it!!

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!! WOOOHOOO!!!

So Colombia has some pretty awesome traditions. At 12am Dec 1st they bring in Christmas by lighting fireworks. I'm not talking about just oh this city had fireworks. No I'm saying everywhere you turn all you see is fireworks (the whole country!) On the night of Dec 1st they turn on the lights everywhere. Tonight for my birthday we are going to see the lights that are covering a river. Trust me you will die when you see this.
In the mean time here are some lights I have gone to see throughout the valley.

We were supposed to go to a soccer game but it got rained out so instead we went to this restaurant to try and watch the game which was like 3 hours delayed.

 I didn't get anything from Pinterest this week but I thought I would share with you guys the view that I have had here in Colombia. It is absolutely breathtaking. No matter how long I stand there looking there is something new to captivate you attention. As you can imagine I have been reading on the balcony and close to any window with a beautiful view. So I have been here for 6 days and have another 20 to go. I really do love it and have had a blast. It was a much needed break. I hope you guys find Medellin just as beautiful as I do. (I love mountains!!)

I have Darcy fever. Last week I made one of my guy friends watch Pride & Prejudice which just happened to be the third time I watched it that day. Anyways he fell completely in love with it and now wants to buy it and watch every other version. 
Every once in a while I get Darcy fever and man its like I breath this book. Here are some things that I am like GASP! NEED! RIGHT! NOW!!

So unfortunately I had to skip a thanksgiving box because I'm going to COLOMBIA NEXT WEEK!! AHHH!! Anyways so because the deadline to get them the box by Christmas is like around the corner so I'm sending it now. I love all these ideas. I honestly wish I could send every package Christmas themed. At the end I will have the pictures of the one I send.

On the 21st I will be running a 5k for brain cancer. My dad has been in this battle since Sept 11, 2009. Recently we found out that it came back and has spread so I decided to do something even though it is just to make me feel like I am doing something. This week I am going to show you guys something that I have been doing off and on for a while now.
I have a few friends who are in the Army and they always want new things with paracord/550 cord/survival bracelets. I have becomes in love with it and buy new colors and buckles all the time.
